Laura Ehrenberg-Chesler has forty-one years of investment experience. Crossvault was acquired by Prime Capital Investment Advisors in 2022, and she became a partner. Prior to forming Crossvault Capital Management, LLC, she was an investment professional at Dain Rauscher for six years and served as Branch Manager for three years. She also held Principal’s and Registered Options Principal’s licenses as well as all other NASD required licenses. Her client base consisted of high net worth individuals and their trusts as well as institutions. Prior to her affiliation with Dain Rauscher she was a vice president at PaineWebber for ten years. During her tenure at PaineWebber she held positions as a sales manager, branch manager and investment professional in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Antonio.

Ms. Ehrenberg-Chesler holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Laura is very involved in our community. She was a regional executive committee member of the United Communities of San Antonio (formerly NCCJ) and past presiding Chair. Ms. Ehrenberg-Chesler was a member of the Holocaust Museum of San Antonio and past Chair. She has served on the Board of the San Antonio Area Foundation, the Advisory Board of the UTHSC Center for Medical Humanities and Ethics, and the Women’s Philanthropy Board of the Jewish Federation where she served as Campaign Chair for the organization. Ms. Ehrenberg-Chesler currently serves on the Southwest Regional Board of the Jewish National Fund.

Marilou Moursund has forty-two years of investment experience. Crossvault was acquired by Prime Capital Investment Advisors in 2022. and she became a partner. Before forming Crossvault Capital Management, LLC, she was a portfolio manager for thirteen years at Austin, Calvert & Flavin, Inc., a registered investment advisor with over $1.5 billion in assets under management. Ms. Moursund had direct responsibility for portfolio management, research, fixed income portfolio management and client service. Prior to her affiliation with Austin, Calvert & Flavin, Inc., Ms. Moursund was as Assistant Vice President and Investment Manager at First Federal Savings and Loan Association of San Antonio where she was responsible for the management of a $120 million portfolio of money market instruments, fixed-income securities, and mortgage-backed securities.

Ms. Moursund graduated summa cum laude and with Special Honors from the Plan II program at The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She received a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Moursund is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a past president of The San Antonio Society of Financial Analysts. She has served on the boards of the San Antonio Academy, The Battle of Flowers Association, The Christ Episcopal Church Endowment, the Baumberger Endowment, and Alamo Title Company.

Sarah Calvert Doerr has forty years of investment experience. Crossvault was acquired by Prime Capital Investment Advisors in 2022, and she became a partner. Prior to joining Crossvault Capital Management in January, 2012, she spent her entire career at the former Austin, Calvert & Flavin, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, where she was its Chief Executive Officer and Portfolio Manager. Ms. Doerr joined Austin, Calvert & Flavin in 1985. In January 2002, she was named the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, and in October 2004, its Chief Compliance Officer. She was appointed the Chief Executive Officer in June 2005. Ms. Doerr had been involved with the trading operations during most of her tenure at Austin, Calvert, & Flavin, Inc. and was its Head Trader for a number of years prior to being named Chief Operating Officer. In addition to community and business development, she managed the day-to-day operations of the firm, and continued to work closely with the Chief Investment Officer in implementing the investment ideas into the individual portfolios. She also managed both the taxable and tax-exempt fixed income portfolios.

Ms. Doerr graduated from Philips Exeter Academy and then attended George Washington University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Ms. Doerr has been a member of Young Presidents Organization since 2006. She previously was a member of the United Way Board of Trustees, the Board of the San Antonio Botanical Garden Society, and the San Antonio Public Library Foundation.

John Cervantes is a Partner and Senior Investment Advisor at Prime Capital Financial San Antonio, where he leverages over 16 years of experience advising and managing investment portfolios for families of high and ultra-high net worth.

Before joining Prime Capital Financial San Antonio, John served as a Senior Investment Advisor at Texas Capital Bank, where he was also a voting member of the bank’s Investment Strategy Committee. Prior, he held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Merrill Lynch, managing $1.25 billion in client assets for one of the largest wealth management practices in the country. In this role, John managed a suite of investment strategies, focusing on U.S. Value Equity and Global Asset Allocation. He also developed the team’s Private Equity processes, including fund selection and client allocations.

John began his career at JPMorgan Chase before transitioning to USAA. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

John resides in San Antonio, Texas with his wife, Kaycee, and their two children, Edee and John Kelly.

Robin Cook brings more than 31 years of experience in the investment industry to her role as Prime Capital Financial San Antonio's Client Service Specialist and Trader. She began her career with Austin, Calvert & Flavin, where she spent a decade building experience in portfolio management support and as a Research Assistant. In 2006, she joined Crossvault Capital Management, where she continued to grow her depth of knowledge across trading, client relations, and operational strategy. Robin is known not only for her attention to detail and market insight, but also for her dedication to delivering a seamless client experience.

Ashley Nichols brings over 20 years of experience in law, operations, and client services to the team at Prime Capital Financial San Antonio. Raised in San Antonio, Ashley Nichols received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from The University of Texas at Austin, and then completed her law degree at St. Mary’s University. She went on to build a successful legal career in Colorado, where she practiced for 17 years.

After returning home to Texas, Ashley transitioned from the courtroom to the operations side of professional services. Today, she leads operations and client experience with the same strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and leadership she honed in law. Her focus is on creating seamless processes, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the firm operates with clarity and efficiency.
